A note from Banksy

 "Mistery is part of my artistic work. I studied art, but wasn't being able to make a living from my creative work. 

While I was pursuing other endeavours, I thought I still could express myself anonymously through street art.

I prepared some artwork templates for stencils to be printed worldwide and put them online for download, asking for people to send me back photos from our collective work.

To some extent, they are also Banksy.

Then my computer crashed and I completely forgot about it.

Later, I saw those painted walls online on social media, after I returned to some sort of creative work.

I also had some work from other artistic profiles of mine reproduced on streets, but those were not Banksy's, which remains anonymous, and nou authorized.

I don't keep any online profile as Banksy, but I still work with art, among other stuff."
